Before you contact us with a query please read through the most common questions people ask us. We are a tiny team and the less time spent on dealing with queries, the more time we have to make Valley Fest epic!

If you have lost something important, please email us. We have kept a log of what’s been handed in and so will do our best to reunite you over the next few days.

Q: What are the dates?
A: 1 – 4th August 2024

TICKETS

Q. Where can I buy a ticket?
A. Tickets for the 2024 festival will be on sale on Friday 11th August. You can find them here on our website and our ticket agent SEE TICKETS.
Q. What does the tiering of tickets mean?
A. Tier 1, 2 and 3 all provide you with the same access and facilities. Each tier has a number of tickets assigned at that price, so the earlier you buy your tickets, the cheaper it is.
Q. I would like a ticket refund as I can’t now make the dates
A. We would recommend you sell your ticket via the SEE TICKETS resale platform as afraid we are not able to offer you a refund owing to that reason.
Q. Help! my ticket hasn’t arrived yet.
A: They will have come from donotreply@seetickets.com and can end up in spam folders so please do look there. You can log in on See Tickets - Customer Service with your order reference and details to re-send your confirmation email and e-tickets.
Q. Help! I have lost my confirmation email with my ticket details.
A. Please head to ‘Forgotten your details?’ section and enter the email address you used to purchase the tickets – See Tickets - Customer Service
Q. Help, I can’t access my email account which is where my ticket was sent.
A. You can log in See Tickets - Customer Service and amend your email address.
Q. I have already bought a ticket – do I need a separate one for the Arcadia field?
A. No, it’s all included.

AGE- RELATED

Q. Do toddlers and babies need tickets?
A. Yes, everyone on site needs a ticket. This is to ensure we know how many people will be onsite, as everyone, regardless of age counts towards our festival’s capacity.
Q. Can under 18’s come on their own?
A. No, however adults can buy up to two teens tickets.

CASHLESS

Q. Why aren’t you using the cashless system again?
A. We brought this system in after covid as we wanted to reduce queuing and improve safety. Since then, technology has advanced which gives us greater peace of mind that we can still take payments in the middle of a field without worrying about loss of connection. Not only that, many of you told us last year that you didn’t like it and we listened.
Q. Why won’t you accept cash on site?
A. Having a lot of cash on site is a risk. And ensuring everyone feels safe is a top priority.
Q. But I want my kids to have some independence without giving them my bank card?
A. You will be able to purchase & top-up a cashless wristband at the Info Point. This is for children (and they won’t be allowed to buy alcohol with this wristband).

LINE UP

Q. What time does the last act finish on Sunday?
A. They will finish at 10pm on the Lake Stage and The Arcadia field will finish at 1am. BOOK MONDAY OFF! You can download the programme here.

ACCOMMODATION

Q. Do all weekend tickets include camping?
A. Yes our weekend tickets include camping. Camping is free so you are not paying extra for it. However if you want to leave the site at anytime you can. ENTRY gates open at 9am and close at 9pm. But EXIT gates remain open so you can leave whenever you like.
Q. Can we hire accommodation onsite?
A. Yes, please see our accommodation page for details of beautiful tented structures which you can rent for the weekend.

THURSDAY OPENING

Q. What time can we arrive on 1st August?
A. The campsite gates open at noon. The actual festival doesn’t start until noon on Friday.
Q. Will there be food and drink to buy?
A. Yes, we have some fantastic stall holders serving up their dishes and a bar.

ON SITE

Q. How do I find out directions / Where is the festival?

Valley Fest takes place on an organic farm and we strive to be as green as possible – we’d love you to do the same! Car parking is available on site for £20 but please consider coming via bike, public transport or lift share. You can contact other festival goers on our Facebook page
Q. I need help carrying my bags across the site, can I book a buggy?
A. These electric trikes can be organised by calling Jeff Luther directly on 07855 125 155 to discuss what, where and timings. These rides will be paid for by donations using your bank card and izettle.
Q. Why are you only producing a digital programme, not a printed one?
A. Reducing our impact is vitally important to us. So this is why we have produced it in this format. It’s your bible for all the fun that’s in store. And we’ve offered our charity partners alternative ways to raise funds – which don’t involve programme profits.
Q. I’m a coeliac, will there be gluten-free food options?
A. Yes the majority of our stall holders are offering gluten free options however it would be best to double check with them to ensure there will be no risk of gluten contamination.
Q. Can we bring our dog?
A. We have a no dogs (or any other animals) policy, sorry.

CAMPSITES

Q. Can we have fires in the campsites?
A. Sorry no, you cannot have your own fires or BBQs in the campsites, or anywhere on site. You can bring a camping stove so that you can make that all-important morning cuppa.
Q. Can I go back to the carpark to get more stuff after I have entered?
A. Yes.
Q. Do I need to book for the Family Campsite?
A. No, just turn up with some kids and settle in, but it is first come first served.
Q. Can campervans and tents camp together?
A. Those with a campervan pass are able to pitch one tent with each campervan pitch – this is for children to sleep in. If some of your party are in campervans and some are in tents, then you can still eat together in either field.
Q. Are there showers available onsite?
A. Yes, there are showers available in the campervan field and camping fields.
Q. Do you have a limit on tent size?
A. No.
Q. Do you have an electric hook up?
A. Sorry no we don’t.
Q. Do you have any Grey-Water disposal facilities?
A. You can pour it into the ground – please bring along an environmentally-sound washing up liquid so as to limit the impact you have on the bioodiversity.
Q. Do you have facilities for emptying chemical toilets on site?
A: Yes there will be a large container near the toilet block in the campervan field
Q. What is your plastic policy?
A. We run a zero-disposable-plastic site. Therefore, please bring a water bottle with you, However we will be selling Valley Fest drinking cups and mugs onsite

FOOD & DRINK

Q. Can I bring my own alcohol?
A. Yes you can bring an amount suitable for personal use to enjoy at your campsite but not to bring into the main arena. This will be allowed on your first entry. If you already have a wristband, afraid you won’t be able to bring more alcohol in.
Q. Can I have a BBQ?
A. No, no BBQs are allowed onsite. You can bring a camping stove.

MUSIC

Q. What time will music be played until?
A. We have a license for live music until 2am on Thursday, Fri & Sat and until 1am on Sunday.
Q. How are your music levels monitored?
A. They are monitored through-out by a specialist team who install monitoring equipment around our perimeter. We have a daytime level which is until 11pm and then a night time level until 2am/1am. If you have a noise complaint then please call this number (only operational from August 1st noon: 0117 405 6341 – to 4th August -the live show days).
